Long vs. Short

that's funny--i didn't even have time to look at her italicized words-i had to get to my next class and was still working on the test! ugh... but 'short answer' on tests does seem kind of contridictory, because short answers aren't necesarily short (my short answers definitly wern't short on the test anyway...). you're right though--it is funny that it's the wrong truth value
Could they be polar antonyms? "This question is long, but shorter than that one" or "That question is short but longer than this one." Both turns are impartial and they can take the comparative form such as shorter, shortest, etc. That would be my guess. I didn't get to answer the bonus. I didn't even know there were bonus until after the exam! I must not of heard her but it doesn't matter since I ran out of time anyway.
